Last December, on my 90th Birthday I decided to open a website with nine
“virtual books”, covering the main projects with which I am still
engaged and need to close before I pop my clogs. Some of the
projects are ongoing and unfolding and I would welcome input from
anyone interested and with information.
Trebah My Story: A light-hearted stroll through our 30 years at Trebah. Operation Eclipse: An unfolding drama of the last 10 days of WW2 in Europe, in which we saved Denmark and perhaps the world. Sosabowski versus Browning and Montgomery: It has taken 60 years
to restore the honour of this great Polish hero and his Brigade, 60
years too long.
The Parachute Regiment 1940 to 2008: A grateful panegyric on the most wonderful men I have been privileged to know and thoughts for the future. Sailing: The story of the International Moth Class and the Salterns Sailing Club. National Civil Protection: We are living through a period more dangerous than any for over 400 years and yet have discarded our only shield. Hibbert and Bradshaw Families: A look-back whence we came, with a little laughter. My Premature Obit: An autographical apologia of a ‘maverick Staff Officer’ who tilted at too many windmills and was a pain to the Brass.
